Edco was founded in 1988 as successor of Dubied in the field of general mechanics.

Edco offered after sales service to thousands of dubied latches around the world.Edco focused on the development and production of state of the art wheelsets in aluminum, carbon or a combination of these two materials.

Ceramic braking surface

Edco succeeded to apply a ceramic layer on a full carbon rim by using a special procedure.By thermo-spraying(over 100 C)a hardened ceramic layer is fixed to the rim.THis makes it passible to have maximum braking power under wet and under dry circumstances.

Rim Drilling Machine

The TSG Group developed in cooperation with Edco a rim drilling machine that ensures that spoke holes will always be drilled in the right angle. By doing this there is no unnecessary tension that often leads to spontaneous breakage of spokes. This machine is able to store thousands of different spoke patterns in its memory. It will carry out these instructions with the highest precision.
